Group History
In 1953, Mr. Shu-Yuan Hsu was a small rice-noodle manufacturer in Taiwan. His first investment to expand his geographical market was a Yamaguchi Motorcycle with a 98CC Sachs engine. With this he was able to deliver his rice-noodles to restaurants further away.
His motorcycle's first failure was an oil seal. He waited a month for a replacement seal from Germany and it cost him 50kg of rice. Suddenly making rice-noodles didn't make sense anymore. So along with his first sealing company in 1963, he created the trademark: "KOK"-Kyo Oil Seal Kaisha.
